Alex is a steadicam operator with experience in commercials, narrative, and indie productions, working closely with the camera and grip departments.

 

Drawing on a DP background, he breaks down scenes and collaborates with directors and DPs to shape shots, including walk-and-talks, long takes, and layered blocking, and adapts quickly when plans change.

 

His rig supports up to 20 kg with 12V/24V power.

Alex’s biggest project yet is Morten, an Estonian feature produced by Kopli Kinokompanii, with roughly half the shoot on steadicam across city streets, forests, bogs, and interiors.
